President Barack Obama and Hilary Clinton will make their first joint campaign appearance in Charlotte today. Doors at the Charlotte Convention Center will open at 1 and the event is scheduled to run from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.   Traffic delays should be expected along the route to and from Charlotte Douglas Airport and the perimeter around the Convention Center, with several road closures in uptown Charlotte.

Political experts say that the rally here may indicate North Carolina is viewed as a battleground state. GOP candidate Donald Trump’s appearance today in Raleigh, suggests that is true.

Tickets may still be available here.
