As of this morning, George Zimmerman’s online auction to sell the pistol he used to fatally shoot Trayvon Martin has reached $485,000. The bids originally were placed on GunBroker.com, but were eventually switched to United Gun Group, once GunBroker.com deemed the publicity the sale was receiving as unfavorable. Bidding on the 9mm pistol started at $5,000.
