UPDATE: TMZ reports that life support will be withdrawn on Wednesday, which would be the third anniversary of Whitney Houston’s death.
However, E!News published a report from another source saying that the TMZ report is false. Bobby Brown, has issued a new statement through his attorney, Christopher Brown: “We support the candlelight vigil for Bobbi Kristina. The Brown family is amazed by the love and support from all that attended.”
While Bobbi Kristina continues to fight for her life, her family seems to be fighting to keep it all together.
Over the weekend, Bobbi Kristina’s grandmother, Cissy Houston arrived at her bedside. The 21-year-old granddaugther remains in a medically induced coma at Emory University Hospital.
However the weekend for the family was far busier than that.
*Police are now looking into injuries on the body of Bobbi Kristina, how the injuries got there, how she ended up unresponsive face down in a bathtub and if Nick Gordon is responsible.
*One report leaked from the family camp stated that Bobbi opened her eyes earlier last week, but shortly afterwards suffered from a seizure and remains on life support.
*Additionally there are now questions if Bobbi and Nick were ever married. In 2014 Bobbi claimed that they were, but her father’s attorney released a statement last week that claimed they were not.
*Also out of a move of sympathy and medical concerns, Alpharetta, GA authorities have dropped a warrant against Bobbi, for failing to appear in Municipal Court for driving with expired tags. The warrant and the citation have been dismissed.
This is truly not the way anyone thought the heir of Whitney Houston would unfold.
Meanwhile doctors are also advising Bobby to let her go as there is nothing more they can do to save the life of the 21-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown.
TMZ reports that Brown’s family sources say he realizes there is no hope for his 21-year-old daughter to recover. According to a NY Post story cited by TMZ, Houston’s mother, Cissy Houston, wants life support pulled on the anniversary to “bond mother and daughter for eternity.”
Family members have flocked to Brown’s bedside, while at the same time remaining hopeful for a miracle from God.
It was just last Saturday morning when rescue workers arrived at the home of Bobbi Kristina in Roswell, GA after her husband, Nick Gordon and a friend found her in a bathtub unresponsive. Both tried administering CPR, before the Roswell Fire and Rescue personnel arrived and transported her to North Fulton Hospital and was later moved to another hospital.
Reports then stated that doctors had placed Bobbi Kristina in a medically induced coma to prevent her brain from swelling. However, ET has also reported that Bobbi Kristina has since been placed on a ventilator to help her to breathe and that the situation is being investigated by police as a drug overdose.
It was on February 11, 2012, when Bobbi Kristina’s mother, Whitney Houston was found face down and unresponsive in a hotel bathtub. Her death was attributed to drowning but authorities also said that heart disease and cocaine were contributing factors.
