A few weeks ago Charlotte hosted the God and guns crowd when the NRA convention came to town. In coming weeks, Charlotte will simply host the God crowd. The predominately black National Baptist Congress is here through Friday. In July, look for tens of thousands of members of the Church of God in Christ, a black Pentecostal denomination will bring their summer convention here.
