Big Events Coming to Charlotte This Week
Charlotte will host three big events this week: the grand opening of the NASCAR Hall of Fame, the NRA convention and the Ultra-Swim. The Ultra-Swim brings African American Olympic swimmer Cullen Jones back to Charlotte.
City officials say despite the slew of events descending upon uptown this week they don’t expect any traffic problems. The festivities begin on Tuesday with the grand opening of the NASCAR Hall of Fame.
