On Sunday, thousands of people celebrated the Mexican holiday at the Cinco de Mayo Fanta Festival at McAlpine Creek Park. This is the third annual celebration, which is smaller than the Latin American Coalition’s Latin American Festival. The event highlighted a mix of Hispanic and Latin American culture, and drew a diverse crowd. The event featured two stages with performances by established bands as well as other shows that encouraged audience participation.
