Today is primary day and numerous African Americans are vying to present us locally, statewide and in Congress.
Unfortunately, turnout has been light at area polls, according to the Charlotte Observer. If people don’t exercise their right to vote then less than half of our population will likely decide key races. The candidates who are seeking offices directly impact our lives in Charlotte. It only takes a few minutes to vote.
