National Girl Scout Day Celebrated Across the U.S.

Today marks National Girl Scout Day, a celebration of the organization’s rich history and its impact on empowering young girls. Founded on this day in 1912 by Juliette Gordon Low, the Girl Scouts have since grown into one of the largest youth organizations, helping girls develop leadership skills, community involvement, and confidence. Across the country, Girl Scouts are participating in various activities, from cookie sales to community service projects, in honor of the occasion.
