As Tuesday’s election draw near, candidates running for office are fanning across the Queen City and state to fire up voters. From Congress and State Senate to District Attorney and County Sheriff, candidates are pulling out all the stops. Although the list of candidates are plentiful, familiar names are heading the pack. Candidates Alma Adams, Mujtaba Mohammed and Joel Ford are vying for their respective state wide offices, while Irwin Carmichael, Antoine Ensley Sr. and Garry L. McFadden fight it out for the Mecklenburg County Sheriff’s Department. And, Spencer Merriweather and Toussaint C.
