While visiting Washington, D.C. on June 16, Swain’s family encouraged her to share an impromptu version of the Star Spangled Banner. It was recorded and shared on Facebook and YouTube. The video, now having garnered more than 15 million views on Facebook, has prompted performance requests from all over the country.  This morning, Swain made her national television debut performing the anthem on “Good Morning America.”
