Filmmaker Tyler Perry has bought an old Atlanta Army base to build a sprawling movie studio. The plans include an amphitheater and a museum.
Perry, acquired most of the closed Army post in June, has said the studio will feature tours but hasn’t released much other info on the projects. It is estimated that the studio will generate about 5,000 jobs.
