Meet Casey J Gospel’s New
Gospel music’s latest singing sensation Casey J reclaims the #1 spot on Billboard Magazine’s Gospel Airplay chart this week with her power hit “Fill Me Up.” This makes the 4th week atop the survey for the Atlanta native. The soul-stirring anthem anchors the praise and worship artist’s forthcoming debut album “The Truth” (Marquis Boone Enterprises/Tyscot Records) that releases April 21, 2015.

The twelve-track live recording was recorded at Fresh Start Church in Duluth, GA where Casey J serves as its praise and worship leader. Gospel star Jason Nelson guests on the warmly uplifting “Have Your Way” while Casey J’s 84 year-young grandmother Dorothy Mae Choates joins her for the hymn “No Not One.” There are uplifting praise tracks such as “Let It Be Known,” “Better” and “I’m Yours” that incited dancing and hand raising among members of the audience. There are also touching ballads such as “Journal” and the dreamy “Your Heart.”

Kirk Franklin #MakesGodFamous Kirk Franklin is continuing his mission to make God famous by bringing his Fo Yo Soul Entertainment record label to the South by Southwest music festival.
The South By Southwest (SXSW) film and music festival is entering its 28th year and will welcome gospel music sensation Franklin, 45. Franklin’s popularity is hard to ignore with his own Sirius XM radio station, Kirk Franklin’s Praise, television hosting gigs on The Game Show Network’s “The American Bible Challenge” and BET’s “Sunday Best.”
However, he took to Twitter to announce that his recording artists such as Tasha Page Lockhart and The Walls Group would join him at the festival in the form of a flyer on Twitter.
“We’re making God famous this year @SXSW pretty epic!,” Franklintweeted.
