In a speech from the White House, President Obama said he’s not concerned about Hurricane Sandy’s impact on the election.
“The election will take care of itself,” Obama said responding to a reporter’s question during a press briefing.
Obama said he’s concerned about Sandy’s impact on lives and the economy. Obama said his priority is to make sure emergency services personnel are in place and that people have food and water. President Obama said the massive storm is expected to impact millions of people and disrupt power and transportation throughout the storm’s path. He plead with people in the storm’s path to follow evacuation orders and leave to prevent unnecessary fatalities.
