Eleven years have passed since the towers fell. Osama Bin Laden is dead. The war in Iraq is over, and America is slowly pulling out of Afghanistan. America has elected its first black president. Life has moved on for most of America. Yet we cannot forget the innocent lives lost on that tragic day in 2001.
President Obama marks the eleventh anniversary of the September 11th attacks by remembering the innocent lives lost, and honoring the first responders and men and women in uniform who have served and sacrificed to keep our country safe.

Television stations will air a plethora of programs about 9/11, but one of my favorite, “102 Days The Changed America,” airs tonight on the History Channel. This is a documentary that doesn’t have any experts or interviews with witnesses. It’s reclaimed footage and audio from the day the towers fell. It’s a powerful, unscripted look at a day told the world – and us – that we are not invincible.
