CeCe Winans returned to NPR’s Tiny Desk stage this month to celebrate the 30th anniversary of her groundbreaking solo debut, Alone in His Presence, which won a Grammy in 1995. The intimate performance, part of Black Music Month, featured a moving medley of fan favorites including “I Am,” “More Than What I Wanted,” “Alabaster Box,” and “Pray.”

In addition to the concert, Winans sat down with Juana Summers for an interview on NPR’s All Things Considered on June 17. According to Gospel Music Association, she reflected on the personal stories behind her music, three decades of solo success, and her enduring dedication to faith and ministry.
