Hornets Welcome 2025 Draftees to Team

The Charlotte Hornets introduced four new players Friday following the 2025 NBA Draft—the first time in franchise history they’ve added that many draftees in one class. Kon Knueppel (No. 4), Liam McNeeley (No. 29), Sion James (No. 33), and Ryan Kalkbrenner (No. 34) posed with their jerseys after meeting the media in South End, according to WBTV. Known for their shooting ability, especially Knueppel—touted as the draft’s top 3-point shooter—the rookies aim to boost a team that lost 63 games last season. Head coach Charles Lee sees offensive potential in the group. All four will debut in Summer League games starting July 11 in Las Vegas.
