Smoke was seen coming from the roof of Garinger High School in Charlotte on Sunday morning due to an electrical malfunction, according to the Charlotte Fire Department.

When crews arrived, they found smoke coming from a rooftop vent. According to WBTV, further investigation revealed the smoke originated from an electrical issue in a single room inside the school.

There was no fire present, and the situation did not spread to other parts of the building.

Firefighters worked to ventilate the affected area. No one was hurt, officials confirmed.
