Minnesota Governor Tim Walz delivered a fiery keynote speech at the South Carolina Democratic Convention in Columbia, urging party members to take a stronger stand against Donald Trump.
Now the Democratic vice presidential nominee for 2024, Walz is working to maintain the national momentum he gained after being tapped by Kamala Harris as her running mate. A former teacher and congressman, Walz spoke for more than 30 minutes, blending candid language with sharp criticism of Trump, according to WCCB. He called on Democrats to confront what he described as a “bully” in the White House.
