Man Arrested Following Road Rage Incident
The Alexander County Sheriff’s Office has arrested Steven Anthony Wine, 37, of Taylorsville, in connection with a road rage incident. On Sunday, February 23, deputies responded to reports of gunshots fired into a vehicle on Teague Town Road in the Bethlehem community. No injuries were reported, but deputies found two gunshot marks on the vehicle. According to WCCB, authorities say the individuals involved are known to each other. Wine is charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle, violation of a release order, and damage to property. He is being held without bond and appeared in court on February 24.
