The 15th annual Speedway Christmas kicks off Friday, Nov. 22, at Charlotte Motor Speedway, featuring more than 5 million lights along a four-mile drive-through course, making it the largest light display in the region.
The event will run nightly from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. (excluding Christmas Eve) through Jan. 5 at 5555 Concord Parkway South in Concord. Drivers can tune into 101.3 FM to hear music synchronized with the light displays. The course includes the oval, pit road, and infield, and drivers are encouraged to turn off or dim their headlights.
This year’s show introduces new displays, including a string-light Toyota Camry Stock Car and “larger-than-life” holiday figures. In addition to the light show, the Tubing Hill will be open from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily through Dec. 29.
