The 52nd Annual Grammy Award nominations were announced on December 3, 2009. The ceremonies will be broadcast live on from the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 31, 2010.

In brief, eligibility is limited to those recordings released during the period of October 1, 2008 through August 31, 2009.

There are four categories specific to Gospel; we list them below with the nominees.
