As of today, all 7,700 of CVS’s have ceased selling tobacco products. The chain now operates under the name CVS Health and has fulfilled a pledge the company made in February to become a tobacco-free zone. The company’s strategy to become a health-care destination includes operating 900 walk-in clinics and instead offering smoking cessatin products.
