On June 27, many local health centers, churches and community organizations across the country held events for National HIV Testing Day. This important day was designated to make people more aware and to get tested to know their status. However, the mission continues each day to educate and make people aware of the HIV/AIDS epidemic.

Gospel Music Artist Deitrick Haddon has been creating a great deal of buzz with his recently released DVD, "The Blessed And The Cursed." The film, which was written by the Stellar Award-winning artist, is described as a "gripping, Biblical account of Saul and David" that is "brought to life with a modern retelling of the classic story," Haddon stars as Dwight Hawkins, a man struggling to overcome the backlash of his peers and seeking to find his life's purpose.
