Former President Jimmy Carter taught Sunday school classes yesterday despite having had a challenging week. Carter announced last week that in addition to a diagnosis of liver cancer, there were also spots found on his brain. Having always been a man of faith, Carter taught at church as he does roughly 40 times a year, at his church home in Plains, Georgia. Not planning to become sedentary, Carter will continue to teach at Emory University, and if his doctors allow it, he will go to Nepal for Habit for Humanity in November.
