Denzel Washington gave some great spiritual advice to the graduates of Dillard College.
“True desire in the heart for anything good is God’s proof to you sent beforehand to indicate that it’s yours already.When you get it, reach back [and] pull someone else up. Each one, teach one. Don’t just aspire to make a living. Aspire to make a difference.”
Denzel Washington has opened up in the past about his Christian values, and has confessed them that he makes sure to read his Bible every day. “I read from the Bible every day, and I read my Daily Word, I read something great yesterday. It said, ‘Don’t aspire to make a living. Aspire to make a difference.’”
Denzel has been married to his wife Pauletta Pearson since 1983. The couple have four children.In 1995, the couple renewed their wedding vows in South Africa with Archbishop Desmond Tutu officiating.
