The Charlotte Observer reports Panthers’ quarterback Cam Newton was released from the hospital today. According to family members and team officials, Newton doesn’t have any other injuries aside from the two fractures in his lower back. Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police cited neither Newton nor the other driver in the collision that rolled Newton’s car and forced him to crawl out of a rear window.
