Last week on my drive home I noticed these little signs on the side of the highway and streets near my house. They say “No Matter What Trust God”.
Yesterday I noticed a few placed out near the airport and even saw one on I-85 heading North. Now these are not billboards or even professional signs like the bunches of real estate ones directing you to this neighborhood or that one, but these are handmade signs that someone strategically placed along their drive home or to work – apparently to encourage themselves. They wound up encouraging me too. Now I don’t know who posted them, or why, but I think it’s a really intentional way to keep yourself on track. Imagine if we all left ourselves notes in strategic places to keep our minds in the right space.
This leads us to your Random Act of Kindness Assignment for the Week:
Leave a note of encouragement for someone. It could be anonymous – or not! Maybe a “You are doing a great job!” note for someone at work. Or “I appreciate your kindness.” to someone who is especially nice to you at the grocery checkout. “Stay Focused!” to someone who has a lot on their plate this week. Just a simple, I see you and and I’m rooting for you type of note. When you do it, let us know about it by telling us what you did by commenting below.
