Congratulations to Marvin Sapp who won the “Best Gospel Artist” award at the 2010 BET Awards on June 27, 2010 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, CA.
The award was a part of a significant gospel presence at this year’s award as Sapp joined Kirk Franklin, Kim Burrell, Fred Hammond, Karen Clark-Sheard, and Yolanda Adams for a performance of “Are You Listening”. Kim Burrell also did a guest spot during a medley of hits by Alicia Keys.
