Music World Gospel recording artist Le’Andria Johnson receives three Stellar Gospel Music Award nominations for her debut project, The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson.
She was nominated for New Artist of the Year, Albertina Walker Female Vocalist of the Year, and Contemporary Female Vocalist of the Year. Le’Andria is scheduled to perform on the 28th Annual Stellar Gospel Music Awards on Saturday, January 19 at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville, TN.

With a young and fresh sound, Le’Andria Johnson has taken the gospel music scene by storm since being crowned the season three winner of BET’s Sunday Best in 2010. Her groundbreaking and chart-topping debut CD, The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson, entered at #1 on multiple music charts, including both the Billboard Top Gospel Albums and the Top Christian/Gospel Albums charts. The CD also debuted at #1 on the Christian Music Trade Association’s Current Gospel Overall chart. The Awakening of Le’Andria Johnson spent seven weeks at #1 on Billboard’s Top Gospel Albums chart, and remained in the Top 10 for over 20 weeks.
