The new musical stage play,  ‘Daughter of the King, is anticipated to be a hit during Mother’s Day weekend in Charlotte.   ‘Daughter of the King, a musical written and produced by S. Kristi Douglas will be performed at Central Peidmont Community College’s Pease Auditorium on May 12th and 13th.

 The musical, which emerged from the song, ‘‘Daughter of the King,  tells the story of three sisters who are required to confront their past and navigate the new drama in their lives. 

S. Kristi Douglas returned to Praise 100.9 FM to talk with ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland, about the musical. She was  accompanied by cast members: Cassandra O’Neil, who plays “Opheila,” Jessica Macks, who plays “Deanna” and Diatricia Willis, who plays the eldest sister, “Renee.”  The play’s Director, Ms. Vicki L. Evans, founder of Soaring High Productions also participated in the interview.
