Ameila Blackett moved to the United States from Monrovia, Liberia over 30 years ago. Although she left Liberia at age 17, she’s still dedicated to helping children impacted by war, malnutrition and homelessness. Ms. Blackett launched the non-profit, ‘CCBM Inc., Organization for Orphan Children in Liberia.’ Ms. Blackett talked with ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland, about her efforts to help the children of her native home.
