If you are planning a trip out of town this summer, you may want to consider stopping through the nation’s capital. Looks like the Smithsonian is bringing a bit of the Apollo Theatre to DC.
Friday, the first-ever exhibit foscused on the Apollo opened at the National Museum of American History in Washington,DC.
The exhibit features about 100 items representing big names from entertainment today and decades past, including Michael Jackson’s fedora, Ella Fitzgerald’s yellow dress and Louis Armstrong’s trumpet.
