Chrysler Brand And Eight Mile Style LLC (Eminem’s Music Publishing group) have joined forces to provide funding for three amazing charitable organizations in Detroit, Michigan.
They have released a Gospel Version of his acclaimed song, “Lose Yourself”. The publishing proceeds of the re-vamped song will go to the selected charities. The Chrysler Brand and Eight Mile Style LLC collaborated earlier this year for the “Born Of Fire” campaign during the 2011 Superbowl, where the original version of “Lose Yourself” was featured. The goal of the “Born of Fire” campaign was to bring awareness to their brand tagline “Imported From Detroit”.
The “Selected of God” choir out of Grosse Point, Michigan were chosen for the re-recording. The three charities that will benefit from the song are:Abayomi Community Development, The Yunion (a youth development organization), and The Robert S. Shumake Scholarship Foundation(Scholarship for a highschool track/field competition).
