2011 Women’s Empowerment Conference, Evolution of Women: Empowering Girls and Strengthening Women will be 9 a.m. – Noon, April 9th at West Charlotte High School, 2219 Senior Dr.

The event is hosted by Johnson C. Smith University; Department of Social Work, Community Organization and Development Class & ForeSight Leadership Training.

The purpose of this conference is a community service project aiming to address the social, emotional and physical needs of young ladies ages 12 – 17 and women ages 18 and older. This conference will encourage, empower and educate participants to accept personal responsibility as an individual and become more effective in roles within families, schools and communities.

• Health and Wellness
• Healthy Relationships
• Education

The conference will provide practical strategies and solutions to enhance lives of women, as well as benefit communities.

Again, this is a FREE Event for young ladies 12 – 17 and women 18 and older.
