A woman has been arrested for allegedly running over a pregnant woman on Interstate 85 in Charlotte.
Kimberly Price, 42, was taken into custody by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police on Sunday, October 20. She faces charges of battery of an unborn child and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill.

Police reports indicate that Price used her vehicle to run over the victim, fully aware that she was pregnant. The incident occurred in the 830 block of I-85 South. The injured woman was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries; officials have not disclosed the condition of her baby.
Price has been released on a $5,000 bond.
