Nick Cannon announced on his radio show today that his wife, Mariah Carey, is indeed expecting twins.
“I haven’t even told my wife I doing this so I’m probably gonna get yelled at for not getting permission. … We are having twins!” he said on New York’s 92.3 station:
Mariah Carey’s publicist Cindi Berger soon followed up with a twins confirmation as well.
Cannon said two VIPs did get the scoop: President Barack Obama and wife Michelle. Carey told the first couple during a taping of a “Christmas in Washington” show.
Cannon added: “Both babies are healthy, in tiptop shape.”
Twin talk surfaced just before Thanksgiving, when during an interview Carey referred to her fetus as “they.”
