Join The Light 103.9 Saturday September 7, 2013 at the NC State Fairgrounds from 11am to 6 pm for our annual Unity In The Community Day Outdoor Music Festival.  Here are frequently asked questions about the event.

  • The address is 1025 Blue Ridge RoadRaleigh, NC27607
  • The time of the event is from 11 am to 6 pm. – Outside, 11 am – 5 pm inside Kerr Scott Building.
  • The free concert features National Local Artists – Kurt Carr and The Kurt Carr Singers, Smokie Norful, Jekalyn Carr, Anthony Brown & Group Therapy, Sherri Jones Moffett, Lexi, Ruth La’Ontra, The Singleton’s, JSUP, Temple of Deliverance Church of God In Christ Women’s Choir, Dr. Patrick L. Wooden Sr. and The Upper Room C.O.G.I.C. Sanctuary Choir, Todd Galberth and Quintin Bullock.
  • Parking is free.
  • Free child ID kits presented by New York Life and Darrel Washington Enterprises will be done in the Kerr Scott Building.
  • Free Health screenings provided by C.A.A.R.E. Inc. include High Blood Pressure, Diabetes, Cholesterol and HIV/AIDS. The screenings will take place in the Kerr Scott Building from 11 am to 5 pm.. 
  • Free face painting will be from 1pm to 3pm on a first come first served bases.
  • Free Arts and Crafts for the kids provided by Arts For Life Ministries begin at 11 am in the Kids Zone.
  • Kids ride free on the inflatable rides and bounce houses starting at 11:00 AM.
  • You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs.
  • No tents are allowed, they block the view of the attendees.
  • Food vendors will be on site.   
  • Local talent performers include Ms. Berneta Turner, Team 412, Ms. Gloria Green, Mimer Glasha Covington and worshipper J. Robinson
