Jekalyn Carr is a GRAMMY® Award nominee and GMA Dove Award-winning independent recording artist. She is a profound speaker, entrepreneur, actress, and author. She has spent half a decade on top of the charts, as a top selling independent recording artist. Jekalyn Carr has earned eight career Billboard #1’s before the age of 21, which includes her hit singles, “You’re Bigger” and “You Will Win”.
At the age of 15 years old, she released the poignant and powerful Billboard Top 5 single, “Greater Is Coming. Jekalyn also made her television acting debut with a featured role on the television series Greenleaf on OWN Network. Most recently, she was featured in the movie “Never Heard”. She released her first book You Will Win!: Inspirational Strategies To Help You Overcome alongside the #1 Billboard song “You Will Win”.
The You Will Win! book, is a collection of Carr’s most poignant and riveting exhortations, inspirational messages, pointers and strategies designed to promote a victorious life. Jekalyn’s burgeoning national acclaim was evinced when she received the distinct honor of being named a POWER 100 by Ebony Magazine as one of the most influential people in the world.

This Women’s Empowerment experience, will feature the legendary Patti LaBelle. She will close out the show with a crowd moving performance as well as share her empowering story of how she’s built and continues to preserve her legacy.
For the past twenty-five years, Women’s Empowerment built a legacy of excellence by celebrating the heritage, culture, impact and influence of African-American women. We enjoyed greats like, Angela Bassett, Iyanla Vanzant, Robin Roberts, Viola Davis, Taraji P. Henson and many more.
