It’s a significant challenge for formerly incarcerated people to return to society without stigma, the prospects of employment and the tools to make it in ever-changing social and political landscape.  There are many communities in our country that are simply averse to welcoming ex-offenders back into society.  But Stephan “Coach Q” Askew, CEO of the Q Foundation is not accepting things as they are.  Coach Q is making a significant difference for ex-offenders.  From helping to reduce recidivism to introducing innovative programs to the formerly incarcerated, as well as individuals in danger of going to prison.  ‘COMMUNITY VOICES’ host, Ron Holland delved into the issues impacting ex-offenders and how Coach Q is helping them build a life beyond the walls of prison.
