Walmart is ready to fight for its share of the online marketplace, announcing that it will work with third-party sellers to make millions of items available for free two-day shipping (on orders over $35.) In further efforts to woo Amazon-drunk customers, the company will also simplify the returns process for eligible products bought from marketplace sellers – allowing shoppers to return the items at any one of its 4,700 stores.
Walmart will begin to roll out the changes in mid-November just in time for the holidays.
