John Legend is among those to earn his EGOT crown – becoming the latest to win all four of the entertainment industry’s biggest awards—an Emmy, Grammy, Oscar, and Tony. Legend won an Emmy as producer of NBC’s Jesus Christ Superstar, Live in Concert. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice also won for their roles as composer and lyricist. Fifteen people can now claim the EGOT mantle and Legend is the first black man to achieve it.
