Five journalists were killed by a gunman yesterday at the Capital Gazette newspaper in Annapolis, Maryland. Officials are saying this was a targeted attack by the suspect in the shooting, Jarrod Warren Ramos. Ramos previously filed a defamation lawsuit against the paper, which had been dismissed. He continued to harass the paper and its employees for years, culminating in yesterdays shooting rampage. The victims are Robert Hiaasen, Gerald Fischman, John McNamara, Rebecca Smith and Wendi Winters.
