Pharmaceutical company Sanofi, maker of sleeping pill Ambien, fired back at Roseanne Barr’s claim that she might have been “Ambien tweeting” when she posted racist remarks about ex-Obama aide Valerie Jarrett.  Sanofi said on Twitter today “People of all races, religions and nationalities work at Sanofi every day to improve the lives of people around the world. While all pharmaceutical treatments have side effects, racism is not a known side effect of any Sanofi medication.”   In a now-deleted tweet posted earlier today, Barr wrote that her latest tirade came at “2 in the morning and I was Ambien tweeting.”
