President Donald Trump has weighed in on the new NFL policy concerning the time before the game in which the national anthem is played/performed. Trump told Fox & Friends this morning that NFL stars should stand “proudly” for the anthem and criticized the allowance for dissenting players and staff to remain in the locker room. He shared further that if you don’t stand, “…you shouldn’t be playing, you shouldn’t be there, maybe shouldn’t be in the country.”
