Spotify has announced that it will no longer actively promote R. Kelly’s music on its branded or editorial playlists. The company’s new “public hate content and hateful conduct policy,” will preclude the service from featuring Kelly’s songs on its curated playlists, though his music will still be available on the platform. This comes as Kelly has been accused of holding young women against their will for sexual exploitation.
