President Donald Trump flip-flopped this morning with regard to claims yesterday by newly hired counsel Rudy Giuliani. Wednesday Giuliani claimed that Trump had reimbursed his longtime lawyer, Michael Cohen, for the $130,000 used as hush money for porn star Stormy Daniels. Claims that the president appeared to confirm in a tweet yesterday morning.
However, this morning Trump is saying that Giuliani, “just started yesterday” and that he would “get his facts straight,” appearing to back-peddle from the claim.
