Jessica Nabongo, has set out on a quest to be the first black woman to visit every country on Earth.  The UN employee is setting out to pave the way for women and people of color to do the same. Born in Detroit to Ugandan parents, left her six-figure job at a pharmaceutical company to meet her goal.

There are about 150 known people who have been to every country, the majority of which are white men. Of the 193 recognized countries in the United Nations, Nabongo has been to 109, since beginning her tally in 2016.  Read her full story here.
