Wendy Williams has set gospel twitter and IG on fire yesterday when she mad a flip comment about the legendary Clark Sisters. In talking about Snoop Dogg‘s number one gospel album, Bible of Love, the talk show host wondered aloud how it might feel if she were a gospel artist and an artist from another genre got number one. And then it went bad for a sec. Watch below:
Well of course The Clark Sisters – both together and separate – have had number ones. And of course they have won countless Grammys, Stellars, Doves and more and have influenced a generation of singers and musicians. Everyone from Kierra Sheard to John P. Kee to Kirk Franklin, Michelle Williams and Kim Burrell took to social media to let Wendy know.
