Starbucks CEO Kevin Johnson is in Philadelphia today to meet with the mayor and police commissioner to discuss an incident that left two black men in handcuffs after sitting at Starbucks, while waiting for a friend.  According to a witness, a Starbucks employee called the police after the men were asked to leave the store and refused. Johnson has issued an apology, but there are now calls for the firing of the Starbucks store manager, who called the police. Information has been released that that employee “no longer works there”, but it is unclear whether the employee still works for Starbucks.
