Chance The Rapper is hosting a Black Film Festival throughout the month of February through his Social Works charity. For the first few days of the month, movie-goers can see “The Wiz” and each week a different movie will be shown, including: “Malcolm X,” “Shot in the Dark,” “Black Panther” and “Ali.” Movie fans will only have to pay $7 per ticket either online or at the door. Proceeds will go to support Social Works, which Chance started as a way to empower the youth in his hometown. The organization’s mission is help the young people of Chicago “through the arts, education, and civic engagement while fostering leadership, accessibility, and positivity within the youth throughout Chicago.”
